Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 May 2026
1. Who operates this service
Social Hub ("the Service", "we", "us") is a private, multi-tenant social media management workspace accessible at app.smm-post.com. The Service is operated by Marcus Altenburg (Switzerland) as a sole proprietor for internal use and select invited clients. Contact: altenburg.swiss@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility and access
Access to the Service is by invitation only. A workspace administrator must create your login. By accepting an invitation and logging in, you confirm that (a) you are at least 18 years old, (b) you are authorised by the connected social media accounts’ owners to publish on their behalf, and (c) your use complies with all applicable Swiss, EU, and other local laws.
3. Connected social media accounts
The Service connects to LinkedIn, Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), and Pinterest via each platform’s official OAuth flow. By connecting an account you authorise Social Hub to read and write content on that account within the scopes you explicitly grant during the OAuth consent step. You may revoke this access at any time from the connected platform’s settings or by deleting the account inside Social Hub.
You retain full ownership of all content posted via the Service. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and intellectual property status of every piece of content you publish, including AI-generated images and copy.
4. AI-generated content
The Service can generate images and copy using third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic for text and Black Forest Labs FLUX via fal.ai for images). You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publication. We add a brief AI-disclosure note to published Pinterest pins where required by Pinterest’s Community Guidelines.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing;
- impersonate any person, entity, or affiliation you do not have permission to represent;
- distribute spam, malware, phishing material, or content prohibited by the connected platforms’ community standards;
- attempt to access, probe, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorisation;
- circumvent or abuse rate limits, billing controls, or workspace quotas.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if, in our sole judgement, your use violates these terms or threatens the integrity of the Service.
6. Service availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free function, or that third-party social media platforms will accept every published post. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time, including deprecating connectors when a platform changes its API.
7. Fees and billing
Where the Service charges fees (for example, per AI image generation or per workspace seat), the applicable rates and your monthly cap are shown inside the workspace’s billing section. You agree that generation requests successfully accepted by the AI provider are billable, even when the resulting media is later discarded. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
8. Intellectual property of the Service
All software, design, copy, and trademarks of the Service remain the property of Marcus Altenburg. No part of these terms grants you a licence to copy, redistribute, decompile, or rebrand the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost goodwill, missed publication windows, or content removed by a connected platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing us at altenburg.swiss@gmail.com. We may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these terms, non-payment, prolonged inactivity, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (sections 3, 5, 8, 9) continue to apply.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Swiss substantive law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the competent courts of Zurich, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection statutes that may apply to individual users.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the workspace at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
